Alex Soojung-Kim Pang is an author, consultant, and advocate for the four-day workweek to improve work-life balance. As the Director of Research and Innovation at 4 Day Week Global, he is one of the leaders of the reduced hours working movement. 

With a PhD in history and sociology of science from the University of Pennsylvania, Pang brings a unique perspective to his work, blending historical insights with contemporary research. His career includes roles as a technology forecaster, futurist, and senior consultant at Strategic Business Insights, where he advised Fortune 100 companies and government agencies.

Pang's ideas have gained international recognition, leading to speaking gigs at prestigious venues worldwide, including CIA headquarters, the Globe Theatre in London, and Silicon Valley's Googleplex. His academic background also includes lecturing at some of the world’s most prestigious institutions such as Oxford University, Stanford University, and UC Berkeley.\
