Mirit Cohen

Senior Manager, Global Workplace Experience Programs
Adobe

Mirit took over planning big family celebrations at the age of 10. The challenge of orchestrating a complex experience compelled her, and when she pulled it off, the thrill was like nothing else. Years later, as the global head of designing Adobe’s workplace experience programs, the thrill is still there.

As the global head of designing Adobe’s in-person, virtual, and hybrid workplace experience programs, Mirit Cohen is passionate about creating experiences that help people live and work better. A champion for connection and community at work as an antidote to the epidemic of loneliness sweeping the nation, she and her interdisciplinary team are constantly experimenting with new, human-centered approaches to the future of work.

Previously, Cohen was steeped in the world of food as a chef and entrepreneur. Building on what she learned about the link between food and culture growing up in the Jewish community and as a graduate student in Stanford’s psychology department studying the origins of empathy in human and non-human primates, she came to recognize the unparalleled power of food as a tool for shaping culture on purpose — at companies and in communities.

Mirit will be joined on stage by Nazli Parvizi, president of the Museum of Food and Drink, and Gillian Shaw, Owner of Black Jet Bakery for an interactive experience about the role of food in human connection.
